Robert Carriages delivers replica vintage vehicles for American TV series.
Robert Carriages has just completed an order for 4 electric vehicles for the American TV series The Knick that takes place at the beginning of the 20th century in New York.
«They came to use on December 15th saying they needed the vehicles for the end of January», explains Denis Robert, the owner of Robert Carriages, a Quebec based company that has been building carriages for over 25 years..
Aware that building these vehicles in such a short delay was a tall order, Mr Robert and his team of about 20 skilled craftsmen rolled up their sleeves and managed to complete the order in time. The 4 replicas of vintage period vehicles (2 ambulances and 2 Cadillacs were shipped to New York by truck just a few weeks ago.
According to Mr. Robert, the show’s producers were extremelly pleased with the quality and workmanship of their new vehicles.
